Hi Bryony, am a great fan of yours after reading your books and I also really enjoy following you on Instagram - love your openness, authenticity, strength and vulnerability. They help us feel strong and ok with our own vulnerabilities. Great chat with Harry.
A dear friend shared your article with Prince Harry, I’m here to send you a well-done from Massachusetts.
It’s clear that there’s a trust between you, which resulted in a conversation rather than an interview. I particularly appreciated your opening, “I think you would have to be cold-blooded to read this book and not be immensely moved.”
So true. So true.
Best wishes on your new venture, I’m signed up to go on the journey with you,
Thankyou! I’ve enjoyed your journalism and books so much over the years. Excited to see what you share in this new format (now I sound old!). I’m so sorry to read you’re receiving so much negativity on instagram. What a sad world that people feel it’s ok to write such things.
This was soooo good!!! I feel like anyone who is a royal watcher or anyone sliding through to pass judgement on Harry (or Harry and Meghan) should read this first…especially in relation to his book. You asked great questions and his responses were so open and vulnerable. I felt emotional at times, but also had some “aha” moments too. I don’t know if I could or would have gone about things this way (with the book), but I understand why he did. This was just amazing! Thank you!
Thank you for making this available. I really do applaud Harry for trying to give a frank account of his traumatic life. It annoys me when his status is used to dismiss the obvious abuse he has suffered, especially the emotional abuse in his childhood. He is truly remarkable.
This was such an in-depth yet refreshing read. I really enjoyed it. It’s important that we focus on the goals; the dismantling of media control being one of them (one of the most important in my opinion) rather than being distracted by attempts from the tabloid media to detract from the message of Harry’s book.
A huge hope I have for Harry is that he realises that he doesn’t take this charge on alone- many high profile and every day people alike, are on this mission. He should approach it like the military - one enemy but a great army against that enemy is rising, and advancing.
Yes! I agree. I don’t want him to feel that he has to shoulder the mission of changing minds with the media. That is a huge undertaking, and cannot be done easily. If others would also focus their attention on this also, it could really be powerful and affect change. I understand his families’ need to want to be in the media’s, good graces, but how freeing would it be if they would let go of that? It will be bumpy, but they’d not be beholden to them.
For guinea pig bedding, I recommend thick layers of newspaper under a big piece of fleece. Have a few pieces of fleece so you can swap one out every few days. Then just wash the fleece...no shredded newspaper or (shudder!) cedar chip bedding!
Look forward to following you here. Just noticed that your ‘Glorious rock bottom’ book is 99p today for Kindle on Amazon, purchased and looking forward to reading 😍
I loved reading this! It’s an amazing space you’re creating here. I also love how open and honest you are on Instagram as well, a true inspiration.

One of the best interview \ conversation with a friend.
